Any bar with blue tinsel dangling from the front entrance is guaranteed to offer a party. Club Eight, which is jam-packed from 9 p.m. until 3 a.m. Thursday to Saturday, doesn't disappoint. This SOMA gay bar hosts theme nights like Bearracuda and Duro (on rotating Saturday nights) that pack in the regular cast of boys in tighty-whiteys and S.F. porn stars who sometimes guest DJ. On Friday nights the place becomes "a gay Asian paradise" with the popular Club Dragon (tip: the usual $10 cover is waived until 10 p.m.). For those who want the VIP treatment, Eight offers bottle service ranging from $150-$225.
