Yoga: The Art of Transformation comes to the Asian Art Museum with about 130 paintings, statues, manuscripts and videos from private collections and museums in India, the United States, and Europe. Together, the artworks tell the 2,500-year history of yoga. Highlights include folios from the first book of yoga postures, stone yogini goddesses from a 10th century temple, and Hindoo Fakir, a movie Thomas Edison made in 1906 about India.

Tuesdays-Sundays. Starts: Feb. 21. Continues through May 25, 2014
