You know how the rest of the (non-English-speaking) world is totally willing to listen to American music even though they don't always understand what's being sung? Well, give the equivalent a try by watching weird and wonderful Japanese metal kings Dir En Grey. If you're unfamiliar, just think of them like a highly stylized cross between HIM, Tool, and Evanescence. In Japanese. With scary bits. And good outfits. And if you are familiar, then you probably already have tickets for this dark, super-dramatic spectacle.
