Brooklyn-based alt dance band Cuddle Magic joins forces with Oakland art rock monsters Grex for an evening of music at once fun, incendiary, and sublime. Cuddle Magic’s brand of dance music has been called “high concept chamber-pop,” combining layers of rhythm, vocal harmony, and woodwind into something truly unique. Grex has been touted as “completely original” and “true genre warping music,” exploring the meeting point between delightfully strange psychedelic pop/rock and the dark outer reaches of noise and free jazz.
