Join us for
a night of comedy at The Barrel House on October 1! Enjoy performances by Dhaya Lakshminarayanan, Dan St. Paul, Kaseem Bentley, Jules Posner, and Kevin Munroe! All funds raised on the night will go to Bay Area resident Lance Hansen, who on July 30th, 2012 after a work accident was left a T4 / T5 incomplete paraplegic after he ruptured a disk in his neck at C5, fractured T5 & T6 in his back pinching his spinal cord, Since his injury he has continued to rehab at a facility called SCI FIT. Despite what doctors had originally told him he has continued to improve and gain back function and sensation through his therapy. On September 25th, 2013 he became part of a stem cell trial which he continues to participate in. For the last year he has been raising money to continue with his rehab at SCI FIT and to pay his travel expenses when he does follow-up tests for the stem cells he received in 2013.
