Christopher Wheeldon's sumptuous fairytale ballet from 2013 makes a welcome return to SF Ballet. This new take on Cinderella is based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, is a surreal dream-like ballet, set to Prokofiev's score and showcases both lavish sets and costumes by designer Julian Crouch, and ethereal projections by Daniel Brodie. A perfect ballet for both ballet fans and novices, this family-friendly production is a great way to get the kids to love dance.
