August 18: Chuck Mosley & a few of his close friends took the stage at Great American Music Hall Thursday evening. Those few friends haven't been on the same stage for quite a while.Chuck Mosley was the original lead singer, which rereleased and remastered its debut self-titled album on limited edition vinyl. The original masters, long thought to be lost, were recently found, Here. The music, still a little rough around the edges, still rocked through the historic theater. Thirtysomethings, dressed to the nines in black T-shirts and jeans, rocked out and moshed through the hour-long set.

    Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
