The 50 Cent Tabernacle is a series of open, mixed-level dance classes with some of the Bay Area’s foremost masters of the craft. We believe in making art accessible, and for just 50 cents, participants can attend as many classes as they like. Each Tabernacle is shaped around different types of dance and movement, so there’s something for everybody. This tabernacle will feature dance styles from Cuba, exploring the depth of its diverse dance genres with three 1-hour dance classes taught by: Ramon Ramos Alayo (Modern Cuban dance styles), Susana Arenas (Afro-Cuban folkloric dance styles), and Yismari Ramos (salsa styles).

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
