Capo's presents an evening of jazz, drinks, and beatniks! 12-Time World Pizza Champion Tony Gemignani is partnering with The Beat Museum in San Francisco for a benefit dinner in celebration of Jack Kerouac's 96th birthday—an American writer best known for pioneering the Beat Generation in the 1950s. Capo’s offers a five-course fixed menu for the night ($60 per person) and specialty cocktail of the evening, Manhattan with Port & Whiskey Spodiodi. Partial proceeds from the event will be directly donated to The Beat Museum, for an evening to feel great about! Call the restaurant directly to make a reservation.

    Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
