Conceptual artist Josh Greene turns the CJM into a bookstore of sorts in this two-part exhibit: Read by Famous shares titles that have been enthusiastically endorsed by well-known public figures (including Philip Seymour Hoffman, Junot Diaz, Gavin Newsom, and others), while The Library of Particular Significance lives up to its name by allowing visitors to check out donated tomes — or even bring a book of their own to get free museum admission.
