Whether you're conscious of it or not, everyone likes Billy Joel. You really don't have a choice at this point: his back catalog is so vast and so eclectic, there's at least one song for everyone. On top of that, Joel's biggest hits — everything from "Piano Man" and "Just The Way You Are", through "Uptown Girl" and onto "We Didn't Start The Fire" — are so universally known, you'll have absorbed Joel via cultural osmosis, even if you've never gone out of your way to actively listen to him.
