Best Holistic Veterinarian

Irving Street Veterinary Hospital

Years ago my cat developed a condition that rendered him unable to pee. I brought him to my veterinarian on Fillmore Street, who gave me two choices: I could wait and hope the blockage passed on its own, or I could pay thousands of dollars for a very painful-sounding operation. Neither option sounded very appealing, so I took the cat to Irving Street Veterinary Hospital for a second opinion. It was a radically different experience. First off, the veterinarian actually took time to really examine my cat. He checked the cat's spine, then his reflexes, then patiently answered all my questions. And rather than suggest an operation, he offered a few alternatives, including homeopathy, acupuncture, or chiropractic care. A few days later, a homeopathic veterinarian came to my home to ask more questions about the cat's emotional and physical state. I was so impressed with the vets at Irving Street, who specialize in both conventional and holistic medicine, that I continue to be a client of the clinic -- because, as corny as it sounds, they care.
