Best Fancy Spa-and-Yoga Combo

International Orange

Maybe it's not as revolutionary as when someone combined peanut butter with chocolate, but the union of spa and yoga is not as common as you may think. In San Francisco, International Orange in the Upper Fillmore is one of those not-so-easy-to-find places that offers both pampering and stretching. Most of the yoga schedule is geared toward all levels of stretch-and-pose skill, so it isn't an overly intimidating prospect for a beginner who might drop in on a class after a massage ($105 for 60 minutes) or, say, a skincare treatment such as a mini-facial ($105). This high-end establishment and its body care products have expectedly steep prices — consider the neighborhood, after all — though specials are offered via its subscriber e-mail list. However, a little luxury once in a while sure does a body good. And nothing says luxury like an aromatic scalp treatment ($30) and a custom-blended fruit enzyme facial mask ($125).
