Donut-licking, ponytail-swinging, doe-eyed Nickelodeon child star, Ariana Grande, is pretty damn ubiquitous these days — not to mention absurdly popular. The bouncy songstress has been seemingly everywhere since her first album Yours Truly, debuted at Number One on the Billboard charts and Justin Bieber took her out on the road in 2013. Since then, she's scored a second Number One album with My Everything, been nominated for two Grammys, played She-Ra on Saturday Night Live and pretty much perfected pop-soul for the millennial generation, racking up well over a billion views on YouTube as she did so. If you're over 21 and lacking a leotard fetish, this isn't going to be for you, but the kids are gonna love it.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
