Join us for a conversation between world class conductor and Bay Area native Kent Nagano and San Francisco Chronicle Classical Music Critic Joshua Kosman. Mr. Nagano’s first book, Classical Music: Expect the Unexpected, was published in February of 2019.
Mr. Nagano is currently Music Director of the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal and General Music Director of the Staatsoper Hamburg. In 2006, he was appointed Honorary Conductor of the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin. He was Music Director of the Berkeley Symphony Orchestra from 1978-2008.
