Women Lit presents Amber Tamblyn; poet, actor, author, and founding member of Hollywood’s Time’s Up movement, in celebration of the paperback release of her sensational new book Era of Ignition. Amber will be joined by author, activist, and the 2019 San Francisco Chronicle Visionary of the Year, Saru Jayaraman. Amber cemented her place as one of our most original and boundary-pushing writers with her debut novel Any Man, which explored the complexities within celebrity culture, sexual violence, and survival. Era of Ignition is a feminist manifesto for our times, inciting change around gender inequality. Book sales by The Green Arcade.

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
