This year’s festival is back at the Roxie and Victoria to present 33 new feature films and 51 new shorts. We also look back at our 20 year history with a retrospective film series consisting of one film chosen to represent each year of our past. We are presenting some of our staple events (the Big Lebowski Party, the Anti-Valentine’s Day 80s Power Ballad Sing A Long, Bad Art Gallery) and introducing some new ones. There is definitley something for everyone!

  • Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'.
