Everyone pile into the car, we’re going to the video store! Browse the aisles, pick out your favorite movie on VHS, and don’t forget to stock up on candy and popcorn too! For one weekend only, we’re bringing back the 90s movie rental experience, with an art twist. “2-Day Rental” is a two-day art event held on Friday, September 13th and Saturday, September 14th (from 6-10pm) each night at Heron Arts in SF. ~40 artists are paying tribute to their favorite nostalgic movie by creating original works of art on vintage VHS tapes.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
