2 Blocks Of Art Returns Recommended

Central Market Community Benefit District and Urban Solutions host the 5th annual 2 BLOCKS OF ART art walk on 6th Street from (Market to Howard) Friday, September 18th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sept. 18. The event features artexhibits ranging from photography and jewelry to puppetry and painting. 2 BLOCKS OF ART features 75 artists in 20 locations. Numerous exhibits will be found in restaurants, retail shops, hotel lobbies, vacant storefronts and even the laundromats. Musicians, dancers and intriguing mobile artisans dot the convenient two-blockstretch.

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'.
