A night of exploratory rock and psychedelia with CDP and Dire Wolves. CDP weave together the diverse strands of Mwandishi-era Herbie Hancock, Soft Machine Six and Seven, and Sun Ra’s late 1970s studio recordings. Dire Wolves puts forth a group sound of ecstatic improvisation with each member documenting coordinate points in the higher dimensions of cosmic free-rock. These are exploratory journeys, transportive experiments into nebulous regions of sound often instantly forming into spontaneous compositions.
