Join us and 300 other swimmers in this open water annual race from Alcatraz to Aquatic Park! You’ll make your own 1.25 mile escape from the prison to the mainland. Swim as an individual, or grab some friends or coworkers and compete as a team for awards and finishers medals! Or join us as a spectator and watch the swimmers come in. This event is for experienced open-water swimmers only. You should be able to swim one mile comfortably in a pool in under 40 minutes. We can help coach you if you need!
