Newly Expanded Ramen Shop Rolls Out a Takeout Menu (There's No Ramen on It, Though)
Beginning tomorrow, Ramen Shop (5812 College Ave., Oakland) will debut a takeout menu, hot on the heels of its physical expansion. Eater reports that the bigger kitchen has enabled the second menu, but sadly, there won't be ramen on it. There will, however, be plenty of apps and mains, like a shaved vegetable larb salad ($10.50), a wok-smoked spicy tamarind pork ($15.50) and a Family Donburi (Tamaki Gold white rice, kombu, pickled ginger, dashi cucumbers, shiitake mushrooms, broccoli, and scallions. With choice of crispy duck, pork tonkatsu, or tuna confit, $22.50).

Somebody in Maryland Is Painting Anti-Hillary Messages on Crabs
And then throwing them back for others to catch, presumably? One reads "Hillary is a Lying B*tch." Note: This was also reported as happening in Florida, which would be only too perfect.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
