Because we can never get enough farmers markets during the peak season, we’re excited to learn that Point Reyes Station’s market will be returning Saturday, June 27. The only all-organic, all-local produce market in the Bay Area, it runs until early November, keeping the heavy tourist traffic on Highway One satisfied, fog or no fog.

Better still, Cowgirl Creamery’s Cantina will be there, serving breakfast (and opening an hour early). Options include a baked egg sandwich with sautéed mushrooms, gruyere and herbs (with optional bacon), a poached egg with cheese grits, smoked salmon bites with Herbed Cowgirl Fromage Blanc, a “Ham & Tam” sandwich, and cheese toasties (open-faced grilled cheese sandwiches with Cabot Cheddar, caramelized onions and maple mustard). If you’d like something a little lighter, there’s a yogurt parfait with fresh fruit and an almond streusel topping, plus a lavender crème fraîche scone.

This ought to keep that belly full as you browse through Brickmaiden Breads, Heidrun Meadery, and all the stone fruit you can fit in your trunk.

Point Reyes Station Farmers Market, Saturdays 9-11:30 a.m., starting June 27, 80 Fourth St., Point Reyes Station.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
