In a glaring reminder that the imminent return of Outside Lands is far sooner than you realize, the annual summer festival in Golden Gate Park just released this year's food and drink lineup. You better come hungry.

OSL's gourmet landscape, dubbed "A Taste of the Bay Area," is comprised of 78 vendors — including selected offerings from fine-dining establishments and local food truck favorites. They're strategically arranged across the festival grounds so that attendees can grab grub within an earshot of the main stages. Notable newcomers this year: Delfina, hitting the grounds with provolone-topped meatball subs; Mexican Chorizo Dogs from La Urbana; and Chicken Tikka Masala Naan Wraps from Raj + Singh. VIPs can look forward to burgers and BBQ from none other than Michael Mina himself. This is all in addition, of course, to the now-reliable mainstays, like 4505 Meats, Nombe — those Ramenburgers, though! — Rosamunde Sausage, Tacolicious, and Wise Sons Deli.

The full list is an exhaustive 'who's who' of the San Francisco culinary scene. If you've dined out even a handful of times over the past year, expect to recognize no small number of the booths on-hand between August 7-9. They'll all be joined by Cheese Lands and Choco Lands, designated areas offering artisan selections of charcuterie and desserts, respectively.

On the drink side, Magnolia owner Dave McLean returns to curate the fourth incarnation of Beer Lands — a collection of 32 craft breweries on draft, predominantly hailing from Northern California. New to the tent this year: Local Brewing Co. and Fieldwork, which just launched this year, as well as HenHouse, Half Moon Bay, Napa Smith and St. Florian’s. The Monk's Kettle infuses a gastropub element with their beer-friendly sausages served in pretzel buns. Don't sleep on selections from celebrated locals like Almanac, 21st Amendment, Triple Voodoo, High Water, and, McLean's Magnolia offerings, a few of them coming from their new Smokestack brewhouse in the Dogpatch. And yes cider drinkers, you are far too large of a group to be ignored, unfortunately. So expect to see a few lines dedicated to the sweet stuff.

Award-winning oenophile Peter Eastlake returns to lead this year's Wine Lands, featuring well over 100 wines from 37 regional producers. Among them will be Buena Vista Winery and Vineyards — Sonoma's oldest winery, dating back to the mid-19th Century. Urban wineries such as Bluxome Street and Oakland's Dashe Cellars are new to the party in 2015.

Look for the complete list of purveyors to hit the OSL website later in the week. And don't forget, there's actually world-class music at the festival as well. Headliners include Sir Elton John, Mumford and Sons, and the Black Keys. Although they might be difficult to hear over the sound of 65,000 blissful mouths chewing and chugging.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
