If you're a cheese-lover, have your own wheels, and you are looking for something savory to do this weekend, there's really only one place you need to go: California's Artisan Cheese Festival

The event, which starts today and runs through Sunday at the Sheraton in Petaluma, is exactly what it sounds like: A celebration of artisan cheese. In addition to lots of snacking, you will get the chance to meet cheese experts, cheesemakers, chefs, and fromagiers from across the country. What's more, every session will include tastings and/or pairings of artisan cheeses.

There's a huge array of events to choose from, including farm tours, seminars, cooking demos, tastings and even a cheesemongers' duel which is scheduled for Friday evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The real crowd-pleaser is the Marketplace on Sunday (12 p.m. to 4 p.m.) where cheesemakers and other purveyors (wine-makers, bakers, etc) lay out their wares for an afternoon of tasting and shopping.

Tickets for Sunday's event are $45 for adults and $20 for children aged 12 and under. Come hungry!

You can find the Artisan Cheese Festival at Sheraton Sonoma County, 745 Baywood Drive Petaluma, California 94954

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
