The Week In Vegan: Oh My God, There are Vegan Thin Mints! (Also Valentine's Day Is Happening)

Mark Shrayber Feb 9, 2015 13:49 PM
Veganism is so hot right now. From vegan dishes served at awards dinners to Beyonce launching a vegan meal delivery service, there's nowhere you can turn without being reminded that it's easier than ever to be a vegan.

Morrissey is refusing to perform at venues that will serve meat during his performance. Now going to see Morrissey is a completely plant-based experience. I wish I knew more about how I feel about this.

Just one more reason to get your chic, overpriced coffee at Starbucks: The chain will now be offering coconut milk for vegan customers.

This is a reminder that vegan Girl Scouts cookies exist. And because the thin mints are now vegan that means they have zero calories, right? Right! I am going to eat an entire package and then call it a day.

Good news: You can still purchase vegan V-Day presents for your loved ones (and/or yourself, because you deserve that love). Vegansaurus has created an awesome list of choices for you to consider. You should buy everything, though. No telling what you might like.

If you want to go more romantic, though, you can try these romantic recipes courtesy of VegNews Magazine

Okay, okay, you made me do it: Just because it's Valentine's day week, here's my favorite video of an adorable animal hopelessly in love. (It's a dog that demands to hold hands. I am a sucker for such things.)
