Thomas Keller and the French Laundry Get Their Wine Back

Mollie McWilliams Jan 30, 2015 8:25 AM
Last month we shared the story of how expensive bottles of wine were stolen from the French Laundry on Christmas Day, no less. Later, numerous news outlets reported it wasn't just a few expensive bottles — in fact, over $300,000 worth of Screaming Eagle and Domaine de la Romanée Conti had been stolen.

But now, the bottles are back in Keller's custody!

Last night Thomas Keller tweeted a photo of some of the returned bottles, with a thank you to the Napa County Sheriff's department. The Press Democrat reports the bottles were found in a private cellar in North Carolina, but there are still no leads pointing to whom the Christmas Day thieves were nor was the owner of the North Carolina cellar arrested.
