Thief Steals Expensive Wine from The French Laundry — On Christmas Day!

Mollie McWilliams Dec 30, 2014 8:32 AM

Last night Thomas Keller tweeted about a theft at the French Laundry, where a thief (or thieves) took off with bottles of Screaming Eagle and Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. If that weren't bad enough, it happened on Christmas Day! Keller notes the bottles were "specific wines of specific value," and that if they end up for sale on any wine site it'll immediately be apparent that these wines came from the French Laundry.

If someone has approached you about purchasing the wines, or perhaps you were in Yountville on Christmas and saw something suspicious, contact the French Laundry at media@tkrg.com.
