As hundreds of travelers are stuck at SFO waiting out #stormageddon, they might not even be able to take consolation in Bloody Marys and overpriced burgers while they're doing it.
A second day of strike from UNITE HERE Local 2, the hotel and restaurant workers union, has nearly 1,000 employees walking off the job and airport concessions closed or partially closed. And anyone traveling to SFO today is encouraged to bring their own food.
The workers want more job security and better health care written into their contract. News editor Erin Sherbert has
more details over at The Snitch, and is trying to get an accurate picture of how many restaurants might be closed (FLY SFO, the airport's official Twitter account, says
80 percent of vendors are open). Let us know if you have any details.
