If you won't be too burned out from Outside Lands and the SF Street Food Festival and you're not too busy prepping for Burning Man, head over to the Mission for Noise Pop's second annual 20th Street Block Party.

That's right: Another music and food festival rears its head on Saturday, Aug. 23 between Bryant and Harrison streets, featuring local music and workshops from local chefs.

Noise Pop teams up with the Ne Timeas Restaurant Group to bring this localized block party not only for fun, but to be somewhat educational too.

The Ne Timeas Tent will be home to the six workshops starting at noon. Lessons include summer pie-making with Three Babes Bakeshop, beverage fermentation from CUESA's Carrie Sullivan, the history and how-to in dumpling-making from Brandon Jew (formerly of Bar Agricole), butchery demo from Travis Day (Fatted Calf and Commonwealth) and Thomas McNaughton (flour + water), and more. Trick Dog, Sightglass Coffee, Salumeria and others will also be around to offer drinks and bites for festival-goers.

Discounts and deals will also be offered by surrounding business. Be on the look out for two mini grilled cheese slider sandwiches and a pint of beer or glass of wine for $10 at the American Grilled Cheese Kitchen, extended happy hour at Asiento, and free agua fresca at El Metate

If you're looking for something more exclusive at this festival, there's a $95 VIP package that includes free wine and beer in selected areas, complimentary snacks courtesy of Salumeria, access to an indoor lounge above Trick Dog, a voucher for food, a t-shirt, and a mixtape.

The musical lineup features local bands and artists like Rogue Wave, CayucasRay Barbee and The Mattson 2 Featuring Tommy Guerrero, Myron & E, San Francisco Rock Project, Melted Toys, The Bilinda Butchers, 8th Grader, and 1955.

Other than food and music, there will be a Rocket Dog Adoption Zoo and an ArtSpan workshop.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
