Make Some Cocktails Disappear at Outside Lands’ GastroMagic Stage

Not content to merely offer an excellent collection of food, beer, and wine from local producers, the folks at Outside Lands have added cocktails curated by local bartenders.

Located near the GatroMagic concept, where chefs and dancers/musicians/entertainers collide on stage for supercharged cooking demos, the bar will feature drinks from eight different Bay Area headliners: 1760, 15 Romolo, Alembic, Alta CA, Bloodhound, Hotsy Totsy, Local Edition, and The Homestead.

New Restaurant Review Site Aims to Be the Anti-Yelp

Happy 10th birthday Yelp, but don't get too comfortable.

At the Infatuation, co-founders Andrew Steinthal and Chris Stang craft restaurant reviews that they believe to resonate with the voices of their generation. Based in New York City, the Infatuation launched their first expansion in San Francisco on Monday with Max Child, a self-acclaimed “food nerd,” as their correspondent.

    Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
