Move over meatballs and lingonberry juice, crayfish is what IKEA will be feeding you on your next furniture outing.

As a Swedish tradition dating back to the 1800s, crayfish parties were held in celebration to the late-summer season when the lakes would be overflowing with the bright, red critters. Now the furniture company wants to share the party with their American costumers on Friday, Aug. 15.

For $12.99, or $4.99 for those under 12, you can fill yourself with a smorgasbord of crayfish, cucumber salad, hard boiled eggs with mayonnaise and shrimp, Rhode Island salad with crayfish, Najad salmon with horseradish, Gravad Lax with mustard sauce, cheese pie, crispbread, a variety of rolls, assorted Swedish cheeses, meatballs, boiled dill new potatoes, and more. Dessert includes strawberry and blackcurrant crumble and cookies.

Tickets can be purchased with your new shelf at your local IKEA store.

To add to the festivities, there will also be crayfish bibs and paper hat.

Don't feel too left out if you can't make it: IKEA will also be selling boxes of frozen KRÄFTOR crayfish for your Swedish crayfish party. There's only some assembly required.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
