Beating the previous Guinness World Record for 250 pizzas tossed, Tony's Pizza, with the help of local kids and families, tossed 263 pizzas on Saturday, June 28.

Supreme Court Passes on Drakes Bay Oyster Company Appeal

Drakes Bay Oyster Company has faced another setback in its fight to stay open. For the past year and a half, the popular Point Reyes oyster farm has been battling the federal government over the right to keep its business operating on Drakes Estero, after then-Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar decided not to extend the farm's lease in November 2012. The case has bounced around district courts, but today the Supreme Court declined to hear the oyster farm's appeal, closing the door on another court battle for the farm.

UC Berkeley's Regional Oral History Office is researching the history of the Pacific mixed drinks with Shanna Farrell as their lead historian. The crowdfunded project plans on unveiling past trends and personalities of West Coast cocktails as they were influenced by geography, gender, ethnicity, community, labor, and class, according to Berkeleyside.

The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
