Five Six San Francisco Pizzas Make it to Nation's Top 101

A handful of pies from the best city in the world have made it to the nation's top 101. The list was created by Arthur Bovino of The Daily Meal and 50 panelists consisting of American chefs, pizza authorities and restaurant critics who have compiled the most cheesy, most savory, most sought after slices in the US of A.

And the drumroll please...

At No. 4: Una Pizza Napoletana (Margherita)

At No. 8: Flour + Water (Margherita)

At No. 31: A16 (Margherita)

At No. 33: Pizzeria Delfina (Salsiccia Pizza: House-made fennel sausage, tomato, bell pepper, onion, mozzarella)

At No. 65: Tomasso's, (Sausage, mushroom, mozzarella, marinara)

And at No. 75: Del Popolo, (Margherita)

Two East Bay pizzerias who have also earned honors:

At No. 19: The Cheeseboard, Berkeley (changes daily)

At No. 50: Pizzaiolo, Oakland (Vodka: Vodka sauce and mozzarella)
