Food and music are only part of the spectacle at Outside Lands. As regular festival-goers well know, watching the people who show up -- in costumes, facepaint, and their birthday suits -- can be just as fun. So to accompany your crowd-gazing at this weekend's Outside Lands festivities, we've put together an amusing little scavenger hunt. Cross these items off as you see them, send us photographic proof, and you will win a special prize*. Or, simply chuckle to yourself as you inevitably come across the following:

__ Shivering people in ludicrously skimpy clothing (5)

__ Hula-hoopers (3)

__ Musicians complaining about being cold while performing (2)

__ Pot-smoking within 10 feet of a cop

__ Bubble-blowers

__ Frottage (Google it)

__ Someone you had a one-night stand with

__ Person surreptitiously pouring smuggled booze into non-alcoholic drinks

__ Person using tree as dancefloor/swing set/monkey bars/seat (2)

__ Person loudly proclaiming that Paul McCartney isn't that good

__ Elaborate glass marijuana smoking devices

__ Dude who smuggled in full-size bottle of liquor, incredibly

__ Group of twentysomethings obviously on Molly (note any hugging/fondling/rubbing)

__ Sign/T-shirt offering free hugs

__ Couple that really needs to get a room

__ Spontaneous acrobatics

__ Drunk crying before 3 p.m.

__ Famous performer walking through crowd, bewildered

__ Facepainted people (5)

__ Person peeing in plain view

__ Your boss, drunk

* Special prize: one free book from the SF Weekly slush pile, plus a handful of old popcorn.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
