What 2,000 Calories Look Like in Foods You Eat Every Day

Posted By on Tue, Apr 2, 2013 at 4:20 PM

Just in case you were wondering what 2,000 calories of everyday foods looks like stacked up, the evil geniuses at Buzzfeed have come up with a video showing it. What's interesting: the number of bagels vs. doughnuts that add up to your daily allowance (spoiler: almost the exact same number), the number of bacon strips you'd have to eat if you were eating nothing but bacon (see above: more than you think), and the equivalencies they come up with, like one six-pack of Budweiser is equal to about 12 slices of bread.

Not surprising: the number of calories in Cinnabons and fettucine alfredo from the Olive Garden.

Watch the whole video after the jump.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
