If 49ers Win on Sunday, Colin Kaepernick Will Get Free Red Robin For Life

Posted By on Thu, Jan 31, 2013 at 11:35 AM

Awwww well this is kind of adorable. Apparently 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is a professed fan of Red Robin, and the chain has taken out an ad in the Chronicle offering him free food for life if the 49ers win the Super Bowl on Sunday. Even better, Red Robins in the Bay Area will be offering 2-for-1 Tavern Double burgers on Tuesday, Feb. 5th if the team is victorious. As if you needed another reason to cheer for the home team.

Though it should be noted that the closest Red Robins to San Francisco proper are in San Bruno, San Mateo, and Concord.

On a related note, if you haven't read this week's SF Weekly cover story on the amazing Kaepernick by staff writer Albert Samaha, you're missing out.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
