The past 24 hours in gossip, innuendo, and cold hard facts about the San Francisco food scene.

The foodie world has been abuzz for the last week, talking about Namu Gaji's opening day - and it has finally come (499 Dolores at 18th St.). Grub Street shares a peek at the menu, in case you want to peruse your options before getting a table.

There's a new place to grab a glass of wine and some French food in Cow Hollow. Tablehopper says Chez Berlue, the French market and wine bar, is now open daily (1749 Union at Octavia).

Japantown welcomes a new restaurant: Kippu. Grub Street notes the restaurant is in it's soft phase, but one diner attests to some pretty good short ribs (1707 Buchanan at Sutter).

Eater SF discovers Perilla is readying to open its third location in the Richmond District. Diners can grab a seat at the latest outpost of the Vietnamese restaurant starting tomorrow (5423 Geary at 18th Ave.).

New place to grab a drink: Tablehopper shares Local Edition, located in the basement of the Hearst Building, will also open tomorrow. The large space can fit over 100 drinkers! That's a lot of boozers in an underground space. It accepts reservations and walk-ins (691 Market at Third St.). Cheers!

Just in time for Cinco de Mayo: Across the Golden Gate, Copita (full name Copita Tequileria y Comida) is readying to open before month's end. Grub Street reports the Sausalito tequila bar and Mexican restaurant from Joanne Weir and Larry Mindel came about after a margarita contest between the two. Expect eight-to-ten tequila cocktails on the menu.

While the wine will remain, First Crush is readying for some changes. Inside Scoop reports, after 11 years, owner Shahram Bijan is selling the wine bar. The ownership will switch over next month, and while it will remain relatively the same, do expect some menu changes and minor renovations in the coming months.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
