Posted By on Thu, Feb 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM

What: Namu Pop-up

Where: Four Barrel

When: Friday, Feb. 10, 8 to 9:30 p.m.

Cost: $25

The rundown: Namu's back with another pop-up at Four Barrel and this time, they're bringing the dumplings. Oh, hell yes.

In addition to the shiitake dumplings, they're also serving up your choice of steak, fish, or vegetarian bibimbap, and cake. As they ask, "What more do you need?" They're also set up to serve guests a gluten- or allergy-free meal -- just e-mail and they'll hook you up. For those of you who can't get through a meal without hooch (holler!), beer and wine is available for purchase separately at the bar and will also be cash only. Actually, the whole thing is cash only so bring those dollar dollar bills, y'all!

Get on board the Namu express at Brown Paper Tickets.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
