What: Berlin-style ping pong Christmas Eve party!

Where: Project One

When: Friday, Dec. 23, 9 p.m to 2 a.m.

Cost: $5

The rundown: According to Mission Mission, this is the last American Tripps party this year, and you'd be an idiot to miss it. An idiot! Plus, see that part on the flyer about frybread? Oh, hell yes.

The lovely Allan of Mission Mission writes, "DJ PJ promises to play some holiday jams, Rocky will be out front fryin' up frybread, and the Berlin-style ping pong action will be EXTRA MERRY."

Frybread and extra merriment? We can hardly contain our excitement. See you there!

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
