Baker and Banker Bakery Celebrate First Anniversary By Giving You Free Cake

Baker and Banker's XXX Chocolate Cake, a SF Weekly Favorite.

This Saturday, Oct. 8, Baker and Banker is making a large sheet birthday cake to celebrate their bakery's first anniversary, and giving everyone who visits the bakery a free (FREE!) slice. It's a Guinness chocolate cake with Bailey's buttercream frosting, and I can't imagine it'll be there for long, what with sounding so delicious and all.

Lori Baker also let us know that their bakery, which is usually special order only, will be selling a couple different kinds of cupcakes that day. Then, in the evening, everyone who dines in the restaurant gets a mini cupcake with a candle in it after dessert. Pretty damn cute. Isn't it nice when someone/thing celebrates their birthday by giving you stuff? Let's make this a new tradition. Happy Birthday, Baker and Banker's bakery!

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
