Last week, we brought you vital news of a public vote to bring a Portland-based food cart to the SF Street Food Festival in August. Food Carts Portland tallied the results and is announcing that the winner is Big-Ass Sandwiches. Folks, you have a little over two months to diet and get those waistlines in line before you blow it all on one of this cart's not-so stealth bombers such as the Pork Hammer -- that's ham, bacon, sausage, and hand-cut fries; the latter is stuffed into most of the Big-Ass creations.

Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
