Rattlesnake, a Dizzying Taste of Venom at Beretta

We're a big fan of frothy drinks, and Beretta offers up a fine specimen in its Rattlesnake cocktail, a mixture of rye, lemon, maple syrup, bitters, and egg whites. Sweet without reaching cloying territory, the shallow glass deceives the drinker into thinking it won't sting, but it does. Beautifully.

On Tue., May 3, there will be even more cocktailing possibilities when barman Steve Schneider from New York's Employees Only guest-tends with a special menu at Beretta. Schneider will make original creations such as Firecracker (pisco, mezcal, lime, pineapple gomme, allspice dram) and Kobayashi (Scotch, house-made hibiscus cordial, lemon, ginger).
