When: Sun., Apr. 10, 6-10 p.m.

The rundown: If you aren't taking your Sunday supper in a bakery or a car showroom, Oakland Based Urban Gardens (aka OBUGS) is throwing an affordable fundraiser with food from two East Bay titans. Chez Panisse and Pizzaiolo are teaming up for this feast to support OBUGS' edible garden classrooms throughout West Oakland. The penny pincher can buy food tickets for individual items at $5 a pop, $20 gets you miso ramen and a beer, and the piggy high roller dedicated philanthropist can eat everything in sight for $100.

Menu highlights: Wood oven-roasted crab; lamb wraps with harissa; spring vegetable tempura; house-made ice cream sandwiches; St. George Spirits cocktails

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
