The past 72 hours in gossip, innuendo, and cold hard facts about the San Francisco restaurant scene.
City CarShare alert: Just as Eater predicted on Friday, Bar Bocce soft-launched over the weekend at 1250 Bridgeway (at Pine) in Sausalito. The pitch: sourdough-crust pizzas, wines on tap, and something called "winesicles," from the people who brought you Buckeye Roadhouse.
Since everybody knows that two things make a trend, that means that ― combined with the opening early last month of Plate Shop ― Sausalito is officially in the grip of a restaurant boom.
And attention bargain shoppers: Haighteration notices that the price for the old RNM restaurant has been slashed to less than half the original asking!
