Pancake Breakfast at Rickshaw Bagworks

Where: Rickshaw Bagworks Factory Store, 904 22nd St. (at Minnesota), 904-8368

When: Sat., Mar. 19, 10 a.m.

Cost: Free

The rundown: It doesn't really have to make sense. Tomorrow morning, Rickshaw Bagworks, a manufacturer of semi-hip urban bags and accessories, is serving up pancakes and real maple syrup, just like the Duluth Ladies Auxiliary. It's free, so stop asking questions. You also get to witness the zany spectacle of Rickshaw CEO Mark Dwight flipping the flapjacks (oh the indignity). Don't forget to bring home some free buttons, to remind you of the day you ate pancakes in a bag store.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
