The rundown: Beretta's guest bartender series continues (and kicks off at sibling Delarosa) with barman Damon Boelte of Brooklyn's celebrated Prime Meats ― an excellent opportunity to try some of Boelte's cocktails in venues where you can actually sit at the bar. If you're nice, maybe he'll make his best-known drink, the Good Word, Boelte's interpretation of a Last Word with gin, Chartreuse, maraschino liqueur, and lime juice.
Cocktail highlights: Setenta y Cinco (tequila, lemon, Creme de Violette, prosecco); the Swank (Old Tom gin, sweet vermouth, Fernet Branca, apricot brandy); Applejack Sazerac (apple brandy, maple, Absinthe, bitters); Italian Fizz (Carpano Antica, Fernet Branca, seltzer)
