Infant Gourmandism Lab

Where: Local Mission Eatery, 3111 24th St. (at Folsom), 655-3422

When: Sun., Feb. 27, 5-7 p.m.

Cost: $40

The rundown: Yaron Milgrom, co-owner of Local Mission Eatery, is known for his front-of-house skills and his wealth of knowledge on medieval Jewish mysticism. But that's not all: He is also a father of two with a refined palate, and this Sunday he'll let you in on all his tricks. At a workshop titled "Infant Gourmandism," Milgrom will show you a baby-friendly approach to the seasonal, local cooking philosophy of his restaurant. Expect libations and a convivial atmosphere as new and expectant parents are led down the healthy cooking path "from market to high-chair."

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
