SFoodie continues our series of translations for Chinese New Year's menus with one from Bund Shanghai Restaurant. Its Year of the Rabbit set dinners include a number of eastern Chinese New Year's dishes that you won't find in Cantonese restaurants. (Incidentally, SFoodie just snapped a photo of an English-language, Shanghai-style New Year's menu at the new Dumpling Kitchen on Taraval.)

Click on the above image, and you should be able to download a printable PDF. Effusive thanks to Adobo Hobo's Ed Chui and his parents for translating the menu.

Bund Shanghai's set dinners begin at $108 for six to eight people. Here's the highest-end dinner, which the restaurant says will serve 10 to 12:

$258 Menu
Crab with rice noodles and two lobsters
Six types of barbecue
Deluxe clay pot
Glass shrimp
Three types of vegetables with braised pork tendon
Sea cucumber with shrimp
Peking duck
Yellow grouper with pine nuts
Pig's feet with dates
Seasonal vegetables
Eel with crispy noodles

Bund Shanghai: 640 Jackson (at Cooper Alley), 982-0618.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
