The past 24 hours in gossip, innuendo, and cold hard facts about the

San Francisco restaurant scene.

Today, Buzz Machine has more updates than breaking news:

According to Inside Scoop, Hudson (5356 College Ave., Oakland, hudsonoakland.com), the new iteration of Garibaldi's-Marzano in Rockridge, opened yesterday. The pitch: a "new American" menu that largely skews Italian, a cocktail lounge that may stay open late.

Via Eater SF, we learn that new chef Adam Dulye has settled into The Monk's Kettle enough to release his own menu, which went live yesterday.

Inside Scoop also revises its initial report on Jane (2123

Fillmore), which it initially ID'd as Sweet Jane's. The pitch: Four

Barrel coffee, lots of baking for breakfast and afternoon snacks, and

salads, soups, and sandwiches for lunch. Owner Amanda Michael hopes to

open in early February.

This Scoop/Marin IJ story about the mass horror afflicting Marin residents, who are incensed/shocked/repelled by a brightly painted Pizza Orgasmica location in San Rafael, made SFoodie feel a little better about our own NIMBYs.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
